For many people this is probably the most interesting section; the Metasploit tutorials section. Metasploit is one of the most popular penetration testing software available on the market. Metasploit contains numerous modules, exploits, payloads, encoders and tools to conduct a full penetration test. In this section we will be covering all the Metasploit basics such as how to install Metasploit and which commands are available at the command line interface. We will also be setting up a popular vulnerable machine to practice on: Metasploitable 2. After the basics we will be covering more advanced subject such as enumeration techniques, vulnerability analysis and exploiting the target machine. Of course we will be practicing on Metasploitable 2 virtual machine.
